Coffee, juice and cookies today in the basement here at LSJU. (Heaven knows what else the people who are supposed to attend are also getting). Some big to-do sponsored by Novartis. When you ask why your prescription drugs cost so much this may be one of the reasons.

On a side note: Here's yet another way the Bush administration shows how it has been bought and paid for: "Taxpayers unwittingly paying for Republican National Committee's propaganda."

Remember kids - voting is free and if you can't find a candidate you like, find the one you hate and vote for the guy who could honestly beat him. There is always a viable alternative.

My newest purchase from Cost Plus (World Market) - a Bodum 2 cup French Press Coffee Maker. Takes 4 minutes to turn even fairly generic coffee and hot (from the bottled water) tap water into rather good coffee.

10$ and and it looks kike it'll quickly pay for itself in saved trips to Peet's.
