Life sure works in mysterious ways. In 2008, my car was totaled and I took the money from the settlement to create a little educational web site celebrating the Silicon Valley's Mid-Century Past called SV MODERN. Since then, a number of the associated pictures have surfaced in print. The latest? My photograph of the Century 22 theater complex appears in a flyer advertising the property it sits on. I suppose that I could be disappointed or annoyed. Rather, I look to this as a positive sign. The image is being used as a selling point. And I would agree. These buildings only make the property more desirable.

Larry has joined ZSL London Zoo's campaign to support Sumatran tiger conservation. He is one of many famous cats who have been given a tiger cat toy to play with. They will shortly be auctioned off to help raise funds for tigers. Here he is shown at his second birthday party at Downing Street with his toy and a birthday card from ZSL.
