"New 3-D printers that transform three-dimensional plans online into solid objects could be in homes soon" says NY Times.
I think that they need a bit more work before they'll be good for anything other than an internal part or a battery door on the back of a mobile phone.
Let's hope they keep on working on these, however. Is Neal Stephenson's "The Diamond Age," closer than we think? (Read the book)
