Ratatouille (film) & Ratatouille (recipe)
[Ratatouille, Pixar, film]
The Apple iPhone isn't the only 'project' involving Steve Jobs that has received considerable attention of late, "Ratatouille" from Pixar also arrived last week-end to great acclaim – and this one was quite the bargain (a mere $5 at Camera Cinema, San Jose).
In short: a very compelling story with many interesting characters and great animation, Paris at night has never looked so good! (Paris in the day? Richard Linklater 's "Before Sunset")
Need evidence of their attention to detail: Thomas Keller cooked a fancy layered version of the Proustian ratatouille called 'confit byaldi' and the recipe is available over at the New York Times .
