Footballers Pick Books for Boys

Boys lag behind girls at school – and one reason is their resistance to reading. But (English) Premier League footballers are coming to their rescue.

Guardian UK cites a new survey, from the National Literacy Trust which shows a third of the 17,089 boys surveyed (ages 8 to 16 ) agreed with the statement "I can't find anything to read that interests me".
