Eli was a dear friend for over ten years. i learned of his death early this AM and am deeply saddened and shocked. I live in LA and trying to get to NYC.
A very sad day indeed for so many of us who loved,knew and respected Eli.
I,too, live in LA and was a close friend of Elli's. I felt
horribly isolated here in LA ~ without people who knew and loved Elli. I wish I had known you ~ we could have had a drink together and toasted Elli.
I hope you made it to NY and recently saw the auction of his collection. It was amazing!
