Another Blog-Worthy Photo From the Good People on Flickr

Just a quick peek at a picture I starred on Flicker: Discovery On The Move

In Mid-July 2011 Space Shuttle Discovery was rolled out of Orbiter Processing Facility 2 (OPF 2) over to the Vehicle Assembly Building for storage to make room for Atlantis once she returned from her final flight. Discovery would be stored in the VAB for around a month until she swapped places with Space Shuttle Endeavour in OPF 1. The move showed off a naked looking Discovery without three main engines, orbital maneuvering system and forward reaction control system.
