Another Blog-Worthy Photo From the Good People on Flickr
Just a quick peek at a picture I starred on Flicker: 7Up_Wet Un Wild_vintage UnCola billboard poster by Ed George, 1969
Often attributed to Peter Max, this was actually done by Ed George, Ed also illustrated the iconic UnCola "The Youth Fare" (bi-plane) and the "Un Un & Away" (blimp) images. The similarities are easy to observe. There are lots of modern reproductions of this unsigned transposed [7UP] "green" submarine on a sea of "yellow". How "Un" is that??? Design #4 in the yellow poster offer from 1972. A 5'x3' original poster sold on eBay for $78 on 7/18/08.
