Just a quick peek at a picture I starred on Flicker: CZ Detour

In 1995, the California Zephyr detoured over the C&NW (UP). I can't remember why. The westbound CZ is seen here going under the coaling tower in DeKalb, Illinois. The sun shined down on the front end at just the right time.
