Saab Lives!

From the GM website comes the news that Saab as a nameplate will not be going away after all:

General Motors and Spyker Cars NV today confirmed that they have reached a binding agreement on the purchase of Saab Automobile AB.

As part of the agreement, Spyker intends to form a new company, Saab Spyker Automobiles, which will carry the Saab brand forward.

Haven drive a diesel Saab all across England and Wales, I think i like this news. What the new models will look and perform like will have to be a 'wait and see' sort of approach.
