Rainforest Friendly by 2011

Some good environmental news from our favourite mid-west coffee house:

Caribou is proud to announce that we are the first major coffeehouse retailer committing to 100 percent Rainforest Alliance certification for all of its coffees, a goal we plan to achieve by the end of 2011.

We recognize that a good cup of coffee goes beyond taste, it starts with farming practices that are environmentally and socially responsible. One-hundred percent certification is a very aggressive goal but one that we're proud to set. We're helping to ensure that our customers get premium coffee and our sourcing partners benefit environmentally, socially and economically.
