Right-wing Blogger(s) Attack Google Doodle

Not even going to link to the story (let their last 15 minutes of fame die quietly) but some folk on the right(?) were up in arms because on October 4th Google changed their logo to include Sputnik which they feel was a 'symbol of our Cold war enemy,' and have done nothing for Memorial day or Veteran's day, showing what a bunch of un-American types must work there.

On that note I ask where is was the Google Doodle to celebrate International Cephalopod Awareness Day? (I will confess to only knowing it was ICA Day thanks to B.H.A. post from today, er, yesterday(!)
