Ray Bradbury's Halloween Tree

I had never heard of this story before (the shame!) and what I thought was 'new' at Disneyland apparently has been been there since 2007.

For others like me who know not of this tale, The Halloween Tree tells of 8 boys who, as they try to save the life of a 9th learn the origins of the holiday that they celebrate and the role that the fear of death has played in forming civilization. The titular Halloween Tree, with its branches of jack-o'-lanterns, serves as a metaphor for the historical confluence of traditions.

In Anaheim, the tree is in front of the old Pendleton Shop.
