Having done the "where is my file" tango last night and having had a backup server at work be off line for almost a month, the idea of a network hard drive sounds like a very good idea to me. Even when I have a local copy of files I always like to know I have an off-site back up. In my opinion you can never have enough copies of a file, particularly the important ones.
